PASTOR'S REVIEW
We can truly testify that with faith we can do all things through Christ Jesus. In the Vision 2000 tract, you were issued several challenges that were implemented though two phases. First you were challenged with the task of erecting a new edifice. Then you were asked to give a special offering in the form of a special building fund to meet the challenge of paying off our mortgage in 10 years or Less.
Today, I present to you phase III, the next portion of Vision 2000. I ask that you reaffirm your vow to sharing your tithes and recommit yourselves to giving annually a $720.00 to the building fund. Many of our 3000+ family members will be able to give $720.00 or more all at once. Others may want to give $35.00 per month ($60.00 if 2 wage earners in family) or $8.00 per week. No matter how much you give God will bless you bountifully for your giving. Let us not become complacent in our duties to Christ and to our mission of evangelism. We cannot resign ourselves within the comfort and safety of the Church while there are other out there needing to know JESUS CHRIST.
Our "vision" for the year 2006 and Beyond must address the needs of the church, home, school, and community. We must be spiritually and financially ready. Thanks to each of you for pledging. If you have not signed a pledge card yet. It's not too late. In the past we have asked for $30.00 a month per wage earner or $50.00 a month per couple. The new pledge cards replace all of that. Now we simply ask that you sign a pledge card committing to give $35.00, $60.00, or whatever your family can give per month. you can start giving your pledge amount now and every month hereafter until our loan is paid in full. This is evidence of our financial stability when we contact lending institutions. I know you will be blessed for your giving because our Savior has promised it. (St. Matt 21:22).
