Rev. Augustus D. Robinson, Jr.
Senior Pastor
Dr. Robinson is a veteran of the United States Air Force with an outstanding military career that spanned over
31 years. His last active duty supervisory position was Chief Enlisted Manager 437th Logistic Group,
Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina.

He is the recipient of numerous military decorations which include: Bronze Star, Air Medals, meritorious medals,
commendation medals, and many others.

Since retiring from the Air Force, Dr. Robinson has earned many civic and humanitarian honors. Most recently
he received the "Distinguished Service Award" from the Charleston County Emergency Medical Service, the
Reid House Adoption Center Outstanding Service Award of the African Methodist Episcopal Church,
Charleston County Baptist Association Distinguished Service Award, the Outstanding Service Award of
Heritage Community Services, the 100 Black Men image Award, the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Image
Award, the Delta Sigma Theta Achievement Award, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Award presented
by the Intercollegiate Consortium of Colleges and Universities of Charleston and the prestigious nomination to
Who's Who.   Dr. Robinson served for five years on the Board of Directors of the Daniel Joseph Jenkins
institute for Children, as the Second Vice President. He is member of the board of the South Carolina Baptist E
& M Convention. He is a past member of the health Advisory Board of Charleston County Schools. He is a
member of the South Carolina Hospital Chaplaincy Ministry, and a member of the American Association of
Christian Counselors. Pastor Robinson is also a member of the Executive Board of the Charleston County
Baptist Association. He serves as a Spiritual Advisor to the Charleston Christian Men of Integrity (
CCMI).

Dr. Robinson's compassionate teaching method, spiritual guidance, and his ability to convey God's Word have
literally produced and placed pastors, ministers, evangelists, Bible scholars, and saints in service for Christ
throughout the world.

Of all his credits, accolades, and accomplishments, Pastor Robinson is most proud of the following three:

His Ph. D.      He Preaches Healing and Deliverance Through Christ.  

Dr. Robinson is known as the "praying Preacher". He is married to the former Ruth A. Munford . They are the
proud parents of four children: Kelly, Troy, Hope and Augustus III. Pastor and Mrs. Robinson are the proud
grandparents of seven grand children: Master Warren, Matthew, Jerell and John and granddaughters:
Princesses, Jasmine, Charaye' Monique and Janiyah.

Reverend Dr. Augustus D. Robinson, Jr.  and was ordained
in 1974, at the Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist
Church, Las Vegas, Nevada. He has pastored churches and
military chapels from Nevada to Maine stateside and from Japan
to England aboard. Prior to coming to Charleston in 1991, Dr.
Robinson's pastorate and ministry  was at Mildenhall and
Lakenheath, England.
University of Maine. He holds a Masters Degree in Public
Administration from Troy State University, Troy Alabama. He
earned his Bachelor's of Divinity Degree in Pastoral Counseling
Connecticut, May, 1982.
